Description

With the LMP USB-C miniStore, the mass storage capacity of the Mac mini can be expanded economically and in no time, keeping the appearance almost unchanged (the height of the Mac mini will be slightly increased by about 15mm). It can be used as an additional volume, as a boot volume or as a Time Machine backup. Simply remove the plastic bottom of your Mac mini with the included tool, mount the miniStore by pressing it on your Mac mini and connect your USB-C data cable to one of the Thunderbolt 3 ports (USB-C/ USB 4) - done! You will see a volume on your desktop or create a new boot volume*. Inside the miniStore, you can use a M.2 Pcie Nvme SSD of standard length 22 40 mm, 22 60 mm or 22 80 mm. There is no capacity limit – you can expand as you want and change when you need more storage space! The transfer rate reaches up to 950 MB/s in real use (the transfer rate depends largely on the Nvme SSD type!). The custom USB-C data cable can be connected to any Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C/USB 4) port on your Mac mini. *To use the miniStore as a boot volume, see support.apple.com and search for the HT208198 support page. Follow the steps to create an external boot volume on your Mac. Pcie Nvme SSD not included.
