Reinforcement springs from Westfalia-Automotive always support the series suspension of the car with additional spring force, if necessary (e.g. with trailer or caravan).
Heavy load can overdemand the standard suspension of the car - it goes "into the knees" at the back. The result: longer braking distances and risk of spin in the curves, in side wind and in overtaking manoeuvres.
In comparison rides, cars with reinforcement spring remained better controllable despite an additional weight of 300 kg. In extreme situations, this can make the decisive difference.
