Description
Hedgehogs are welcome guests in the garden. They feed on snails, caterpillars and harmful insects. Unfortunately, the hedgehog is one of the endangered species in Europe. In Germany, hedgehogs are therefore protected all year round by the Federal Nature Conservation Act. These are all good reasons to support the spiky contemporaries in their struggle for survival. With this special hedgehog sleeping house, you offer the animals an ideal winter quarter directly in your garden. So the hedgehog can survive the most dangerous time of the year without damage. The sophisticated construction features a maze entrance to prevent access to predators such as domestic cats. The pine wood used (Pinus sylvestris, main wood type) is FSC® certified and comes from sustainable and environmentally friendly forests from European forests. In addition, the surface is flamed, which achieves higher weather resistance and highlights the natural grain of the wood. European production is handmade with a focus on the best quality workmanship. The external dimensions of the hedgehog house are approx. 30.5 x 26.5 x 24 cm (L x W x H).
