This is the first shoe we made with a Monosocket structure, giving it a molded fit to the foot making it a super light choice to deliver excellent performance on short hikes. When cleaning Haglöfs shoes, it is important to use a soft sponge under a stream of running water. Dry shoes with a towel or dry cloth at natural temperature. Do not use external heat source or direct sunlight. Direct heat can change the shape of the shoe. Shoes should never be machine cleaned. For maximum comfort and maintain the temperature of your feet, occasionally clean the inside of the shoes with a soft brush and warm water. Remove the sole before washing the shoes. To speed up drying, fill each of the shoes or boots with newspaper and allow the absorption of most of the moisture before taking it out and allow the garment to air dry. No matter if you clean the inside or outside, make sure the shoes dry at room temperature and never use a water heater or drying closet (excessive heat could cause leather cracks, for example). The best way to store your clean shoes is at room temperature with a fork. Never store your dirty shoes. Before the first use, boots and shoes should be given a waterproofing treatment, including laces and the entire tongue. Clean surfaces of boots and shoes should be treated with a waterproofing agent for synthetic materials. There are many different waterproofing agents and waxes on the market for different types of shoes and areas of use. Ask your distributor for tips and instructions for the shoe or shoe you purchased. Tip: Wear socks made of pure wool or wool/synthetic fabric for optimal foot temperature. Socks of this type of materials help maintain a good temperature in shoes because they let moisture pass much better than cotton. Moisture can help create friction, cold on the feet, and in extreme cases, even the athletic foot.
