The best way to store your clean shoes is at room temperature with a fork. Never store your dirty shoes. Before the first use, boots and shoes should be given a waterproofing treatment, including laces and the entire tongue. Clean surfaces of boots and shoes should be treated with a waterproofing agent for synthetic materials. There are many different waterproofing agents and waxes on the market for different types of shoes and areas of use. Ask your distributor for tips and instructions for the shoe or shoe you purchased. Tip: Wear socks made of pure wool or wool/synthetic fabric for optimal foot temperature. Socks of this type of materials help maintain a good temperature in shoes because they let moisture pass much better than cotton. Moisture can help create friction, cold on the feet, and in extreme cases, even the athletic foot.
