Description

In the winning game Pax Pamir, players take on the role of 19th-century Afghan leaders who try to forge a new state after the collapse of the Durrani Empire. Western historians often refer to this period as the "Great Game" because of the role played by the European Colonial Empires (Russians and English) who tried to use Central Asia as the scene of their own rivalries. In Pax Pamir, these empires are considered strictly from the point of view of the Afghans, who tried to manipulate the Ferengis (foreigners) for their own purposes.
