Description

MPO (multi-fibre push-on) wiring system - These modules connect the MPO permanent link to standard patch cables with LC connectors. As finished units, the MPO modules inside are equipped with 12 fibre pigtails as well as LC couplings on the front panel and an MPO connector on the back. The modules can be installed in panels and installed in a 19 inch system. The MPO (multi-fibre push-on) cabling system is an easy to use solution based on a high-density connector and 12 fibre ribbon fibre cables. This system is widely used in data centers, but is also used e.g. between server rooms. It has been designed for reliable and fast handling and offers the advantages of a small footprint and maximum scalability. Pre-assembled MPO cables can be fanned into other types of connectors, typically LC connectors to connect to standard Fibre Optic products or services. This is done via modules or via so-called Fan Out Cable • Supports all fibre optic applications in the Ethernet area • Modular solution with reusable modules and cables • High-density wiring saves considerably space and thus offers improved airflow compared to traditional cable bundles. • Cables are pre-assembled and therefore delivered in a secure quality. Key facts about MPO MPO connections usually bring 12 fibres in a single plug together. A joint must be firm and the fibre ends must be neatly strung together. These requirements are essential to achieve the desired transmission parameters. Therefore, there are MPO plugs in a "male" version (with pins) or in a "female" version (without pins). The pins ensure that the front sides of the plugs meet in the correct position and thus the fibre ends are precisely joined together. There are different methods of assignment of the 12 fibre ends. Our trunk cables are assembled using method A (pin 1 to pin 1). Notes: All cables offered are halogen free (LS0H). The connectors are low-loss connectors with particularly low insertion loss.
