Smooth rotation - The 6+1 quality stainless steel ball bearings are sealed and make the reel rotate smooth as butter. Thanks to the extra slow oscillation system and the long stroke spool, you get a perfect line lay. This ensures accurate long distance casting at all times.

Reliable front drag - The sealed HT-100 multi-disk carbon drag system in the front of the reel ensures a smooth line take while fighting even the biggest carp. It has a whopping max drag power of 13.6kg / 30lb on the 8000 size.

Anti-corrosion and saltwater treatment - These carp reels have been designed with fishing for big carp and catfish in mind, but are real allround super stars for when you want to cast extremely long distances. Thanks to special saltwater anti-corrosion treatment, these fishing reels are also great for surfcasting from the beach.

Big Pit comes in 2 sizes - 7000 / 8000 with a gear ratio of 4.7:1 which gives you a line retrieve per handle turn of 95 and 108cm. The reel features a an aluminium spare spool in the same design as the main spool, so you always have a back up with you for a different diameter or line type to match the fishing conditions you are facing.
