Because here you get an ND filter, which is not designed for only one strength, but is completely variable. This means that you can freely adjust the filter between the strengths ND8 and ND512 to any motif situation. So that you can also adjust exactly the thickness you need, we have attached the stops between 3 and 9 on the side of the filter. Do you want to photograph a sunrise and a tourist attraction and usually need two different strengths? No problem. The variable ND combines both required strengths in itself

The Rollei F:X Pro variable ND8-NLD512 filter is infinitely adjustable between ND8 and ND512 which corresponds to 3 to 9 aperture levels.

The Gorilla glass used is extremely robust, particularly durable and guarantees high light transmission and no optical distortion.

The luminance coating developed by Rollei offers high colour fidelity, low reflection and is a scratch-resistant coating.

The variable Rollei neutral density filter is particularly suitable for shots of flowing waters and creates very beautiful wiping effects on pulling clouds
