The collection möve BOHÈME An unconventional and trendy fusion of patterns, styles, colours and fabric, the bohemian style is taking interior design by storm and finding its way into our homes. The style we recognise today actually has its roots in 19th century Paris. This was when the French capital was a cultural mecca for artists and creative types who were looking for an alternative to the bourgeois way of life. Their aesthetic approach was inspired by the Roma gypsies who originated from the Kingdom of Bohemia and their libertarian and carefree way of life which explains the origin of the word ‘bohemian’. During this period, the Roma would travel around the countryside in their flamboyantly painted caravans. The bohemian look is very on trend at the moment and is used to good effect in the möve BOHÈME range which includes a wide range of designs in natural colours. The hand towels and bath towels (50 x 100 and 80 x 150 cm, respectively) are decorated with attractive jacquard designs which are both playful and geometric, but always look relaxed and authentic. One of the designs includes small birds balanced on tree branches and another sports bold mattress stripes. Another option is an allover linen textured design, or there is a double face version with a striped border which is also available as a guest towel (30 x 50 cm). The natural colour palette of mauve, tea and grey accentuates the boho chic style of the collection and makes it perfect for mixing and matching. The linen portion lends the collection an extra special look and feel. An elegant and stylish unisex kimono made from 100% cotton with a striped trim completes the collection perfectly. It is available in anthracite and nature. Of course all möve products are tested and certified for harmful substances according to the strict criteria of Oeko-Tex Standard 100. They can be washed hygienically clean at 60° C without any problems and dried in the gentle cycle of the tumble dryer. Thus our möve BOHÈME is also ideally suited for allergy sufferers and sensitive baby skin (product class 1).
