Klappcover, 180-Gramm-Pressung (500 Exemplare weltweit) auf SULATRON erhältlich. Seit fast drei Dekaden zählt die britische Formation SUN DIAL zu den führenden Vertretern zeitgenössischer Spacerock- / Psychedelic-Klänge. Seitdem widmet sich die von Multi- Instrumentalist (und ACME-RECORDS Labelchef) GARY RAMON gegründete Band ihren bewusstseinserweiternden Exkursen im stilistisch experimentierfreudigen Grenzbereich zwischen Space- / Progressive-Rock, Neo- / Hard-Psychedelia, Stoner Rock, Shoegaze und Electronica. So erschienen von der kultisch verehrten Band bis dato 14 Longplayer, darunter auch das jetzt auf SULATRON im Original-Cover-Artwork wieder neu aufgelegte Album ‘Mind Control’. 2012 in der Besetzung GARY RAMON (Gitarre, Mellotron, Organ, Synthesizer Gesang), JOOLIE WOOD (Violine, Melodica), SCORPIO (B) sowie CONRAD FARMER (Schlagzeug) eingespielt, zählt dieses stilistisch an der Schnittstelle zu Psychedelia, Krautrock und Electronica angesiedelte Werk zweifelsfrei zu den Sternstunden des Genres. Produziert wurde das Album von HUGO CHAVEZ-SMITH, mit dem die Band bereits 1990 ihr erfolgreiches Debüt ‘Other Way Out’ eingespielt hatte. Die jetzt vorliegende Doppel- Vinyl / Splatter-Edition bietet neben dem um zwei Stücke erweiterten Originalalbum zudem die Bonusdisc ‘Flashbacks From The Aether’, auf dem neun bislang unveröffentlichte Tracks zu hören sind.
