Zach Top Transitus (Deluxe 5-Disc Photobook)

Conceptual albums are considered to be the premier class of releases from their body and stomach genre. Multi-instrumentalist Arjen Anthony Lucassen stands out from the numerous artists who follow such and similar feats, or at least try to do so. With his prog project Ayreon, the Dutchman has been presenting thrilling mammoth music plays such as " Into the Electric Castle" (1998), " The Human Equation" (2004), " 01011001" (2008) Of Everything" (2013) and most recently " The Source" (2017) the legs, which set standards with regard to production, equipment, the multiplicity and skill of the participants, as well as, above all, with regard to the radiance of the respective compositions. Soon it will be time again: After three years of preparation and almost according to the motto “#34; A little more goes away" Lucassen is launching his new Ayreon Opus Transitus in the spring of autumn. Transitus will be released by Mascot Label Group on 25 September 2020 in three formats: as a 2CD, on double LP in colored vinyl with gatefold cover, as well as an earbook with four CDs and a DVD, which includes many other specials, a 5.1 mix of the album. Transitus is a 25-page comic book written by the Chilean illustrator Felix Vega. Guests include Tom Backer (Doctor Who), Simone Simons (Epica), Dee Snider (Twisted Sister), Tommy Karevik (Kamelot), Joe Satriani and Marty Friedman.
