The outside of the gilet has a durable water-repellent treated Pertex shell fabric, which will immediately wick surface moisture away from the gilet. This will keep you feeling lightweight and comfortable over the course of a day. The Pertex material is also extremely strong and durable, able to stand up against forces placed against it as it is tear-resistant. The gilet will seal in heat extremely effectively, but it will still allow a controlled flow of air in and out, which will give you a little bit of ventilation. In addition to this, Pertex material will block the entry of wind for exceptional comfort. The gilet has strategically place non-quilted areas, which will allow greater ease of movement, making a wide range of movements possible without any restriction.
