The Chicco Sensory Table is nature's activity centre developed to help little ones train their senses and attention span through numerous manual activities as well as light and sound stimuli. When children still cannot stand up on their own, the table legs can be removed for them to play safely on the floor. It is divided into 5 sensory areas, each with its own specific characteristics: the central lake, shape sorter game, the ladybug, the chameleon and the caterpillar. Children can touch the lake to feel its liquid consistency, leave their imprint with their hand and find the little fish that are hiding inside. The caterpillar is a nice piano with four buttons that activate fun sounds and relaxing light effects. The ladybug hides a surprise: if you press its head it opens its wings showing a beautiful flower. The skin of the chameleon is soft and by caressing it you discover music and lights. Shape sorter game has three sensory moulds each with a specific colour, shape and sensory stimulation; by inserting them in the right position, the lake lights up with the colour of the mould, activating relaxing sounds. The lights in the lake and the sound stimuli are all calibrated to help children develop their ability to concentrate. In addition, the game offers the possibility to activate a mute mode, in order to focus better on the tactile experiences and light stimuli. The Chicco Sensory Table is an inclusive game developed in collaboration with the AITA Scientific Centre of Neuropsychiatry and the National Association of Italian Educators: each feature and functionality has been designed to adapt to the specific needs and abilities of each child.
