The most innovative pimple for glacier tours, winter alpinism and ski mountaineering available on the market. Constructed of aluminum alloy 7075-T6 like the super lightweight Corsa, it differs from the latter by the Sandvik Nanoflex® alloy steel inserts on the head and shaft tip: two critical points that are thus far more resistant and durable without sacrificing lightness. The arc of the shaft provides better impact force without reducing the impact or penetration capacity into the ice. A special nylon insert prevents snow from entering and settling in the shaft, which in turn has a special structure for a good grip. The opening between the shovel and shaft integrated into the headboard allows you to attach a Corsa Leash wrist strap (sold separately). Not recommended for ice climbing, climbing in steep mixed terrain and for intensive steps. Sandvik Nanoflex® is an innovative steel alloy that is much more resistant compared to thermally treated chrome molybdenum steel and has a 25% stronger hardness. This allows a reduction in the metal used and results in a remarkable weight reduction while maintaining the same load capacity.
