CRETA YIXING: collective name for various types of clay/clays rich in iron oxides, mica, kaolin, quartz and iron ore.

WHY CRETE YIXING? contains kaolin that allows the teapot to reach very high temperatures, as well as iron and silicon that give the teapot porosity so that the tea inside can "breathe"

TASTE OF TEA: Thanks to the porous structure, essential oils are absorbed by the clay walls and, over time, such a teapot improves the taste of tea, makes it softer, deeper, adding its unique "taste" from accumulated essential oils.

TEMPERATURE: Even if they appear fragile, teapots are actually very resistant because they have to "withstand" high temperatures. The porous structure allows the teapot to heat up quickly and maintain heat for a long time, avoiding temperature differences when drinking tea, which very negatively affect the taste. The kettle handle never gets hot for a secure grip.
