For new vehicles with Canbus connection, the problem of connecting a trailer or bicycle carrier with LED lighting is that the on-board computer of the towing vehicle displays an error message. This Carpoint LED Canbus converter solves malfunctions or other error messages when used in combination with a car and trailer or bike rack with LED lighting. The Carpoint Canbus adapter communicates with the base vehicle's Canbus system. The adapter has a 13-pin connection to a 7-pin connection and can be easily placed between the vehicle's connection and the trailer or bike rack.
