Product Description Launched in 2010 L'Ombre Des Merveilles is a gender neutral amber woody fragrance launched by Hermès, and created by the fantastic Christine Nagel. Nagel, as she has done repeatedly over the years, has managed to create magic with very little when it comes to L'Ombre Des Merveilles. The top note is Black tea, the middle note is Incense and the base note is Tonka Bean. The fragrance is simple, very simple, but also gorgeous, lovely and shows that stripped down fragrances can work. The notes roll from one in to the other, each getting a chance to shine, each dancing with the next before handing over the reigns and each being more complex than they have any right to be by themselves, yet the fragrance still remains mostly simple and straight forward. This is completely unisex, unique, and can be used in pretty much any situation.
