Designed for Steve Vais Ibanez PIA guitar, the UtoPIA™ Bridge pickup features a custom laser-cut baroque style cover over a layer of gold pattern. Using the Evolution® Bridge as a base platform, the UtoPIA™ Bridge is designed to focus more on guitar bass reproduction, while adding thickness and body to the upper end. The challenge was to continue delivering the overtones for which the Evolution® is known. The upper mid frequencies have also been taken back to create a less aggressive attack and provide more control. The UtoPIA™ bridge features a large, fat low-end, high output and a thick top end.
