ANGEL’S ENVY Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey Finished in Port Wine Barrels is an award-winning spirit. We’re famous for our secondary finish and we use hand-selected ruby port wine casks for a final, secondary ageing of our whiskey. The port finish perfectly fits our bourbon’s taste profile, adding just the right layer of richness. But before we add that special finishing touch, our bourbon whiskey is aged in new, charred White Oak barrels, typically for 4 to 6 years. The charring of the barrels is crucial to developing our whiskey’s taste. It opens up the wood, making it easier for our bourbon to extract delicious flavours as it ages. The secondary finishing in 60-gallon hand-selected port barrels from Portugal is the crowning touch before we blend it for the perfect flavour profile.
