Close-focusing, apochromatic and compact, the Laowa 65mm f/2.8 2x Ultra Macro APO from Venus Optics is a slim telephoto lens for Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras in APS-C format. The macro design allows for a larger magnification of 2:1 and a minimum focusing distance of 17 cm for working with close subjects. In terms of optics, it uses three extra low dispersion elements to greatly reduce color fringe and chromatic aberration to achieve a high level of clarity and color accuracy.
