This easy to grow deep violet poppy will look fantastic in any planting scheme. When planted with pure whites or yellows, the contrast will look stunning. Plant in drifts for a stunning display, where these plants will cover a large area. Sow March to April or August to September for overwintering. Optimum Germination Temperature: 60-65F (15-18C). Sowing Depth: 1/16 Inch (1.5mm). Seed should be sown outdoors where it is to flower in spring or autumn and thinned out to 12in (30cm) apart. Space the plants 30cm (12in) apart in full sun in ordinary garden soil.
