Texas Instruments TI-30 XIIS School Calculator, Dark Blue

This two-line science calculator combines statistics and advanced scientific functions. Input and result via two-line display can be recorded at a glance. 11-digit, scrollable input line with 10-digit decimal place and two-digit exponent. Equation Recall allows to recall and edit or correct previous inputs and statistical data. The result is updated. All basic scientific, trigonometric and hyperbolic functions are present. Two-dimensional statistics, fractional functions, term input in usual notation. Perfectly adapted to the curriculum. With sturdy, colour-coded plastic buttons. Mobile use thanks to solar and battery operation. Includes protective sliding case. Computer use in lessons The TI-30 XIIS is suitable for solar and battery operation The Texas Instruments scientific school calculators are primarily suitable for upper secondary education and offer every teacher and student the right calculator for the special requirements of the curriculum. Experience shows that the use of computers promotes student communication with each other. Teachers know the phenomenon that even quiet students start talking to each other and show something to their neighbor. Students' mutual explanation of operation and arithmetic paths among themselves strengthens argumentative and social skills and your child benefits in their personal development. Does my child learn mental arithmetic? Mental arithmetic is important and, as well as handwritten calculation, is consolidated by selected teaching and learning units. Your child should be able to assess the result of calculations in advance and evaluate it afterwards. Teachers pay attention to this skill. Typically, arithmetic skills are deepened at regular intervals - this is also envisaged in modern curricula. Comparative studies prove that computing skills are not lost due to computer use. Even more – valuable new skills are gained. What types of calculators are allowed on the high school exam? Maybe use a computer right away? The constantly available calculator is less of the focus on the outside, is only pulled out of the pocket if necessary, and can therefore be easily integrated into the learning process. It is optimised as a special tool for STEM (mathematics, computer science, science and technology). Measured value acquisition can be done both in the physics laboratory and in the great outdoors. The evaluation of measurement data is done in the classroom or at home. The calculators come with professional support, training and teaching materials that enable particularly educational and targeted teaching. When considering purchasing or using computers, it is important to note that there are also restrictions. A walk into a PC room cannot be spontaneous. Even with notebooks, you are not as flexible as with calculators. In addition, computers tempt to use a collection of different freeware programs that do not work well together. Your child needs a lot of learning time to learn and keep the operation of the different programs. For this compiled collection of applications, there is currently not a mature service with a professional supervision of the teachers and students. Where is the TI 30X IIS scientific calculator allowed? The TI research programme For more than 20 years, Texas Instruments has used extensive research to continuously contribute to further improvement of mathematical-science teaching. Texas Instruments works very closely with the ministries of culture and the universities. The results flow into both product development and the design of teacher support programs. This - independent and objective - research is carried out in partnership with the Institute of Education Sciences of the Federal Department of Education and the National Science Foundation in the United States, in Europe with the Ministries of Education and the European Union, and with major research universities around the world. TI adheres to a strict code of ethics in all research activities that ensure the highest standards of independent and objective research. About Texas Instruments Texas Instruments Education Technology Business offers a variety of products and services for the education sector for students and teachers in mathematics and the sciences.
