Ihre ersten drei Alben nahmen die Electro-Szene im Sturm, doch fr mind.in.a.box begann alles mit einem unaufflligen Demo, das sie 2003 an Dependent Records schickten. Die fnf Songs, die auf einer einfachen CD-R eingereicht wurden, fesselten A&R Stefan Herwig wochenlang, weil sie alles hatten, was den meisten Electro-Industrial-Acts fehlte: Originalitt, komplexe Sequenzen, hypnotische Harmonien und eindringlichen, mit Vokoder und Verzerrer bearbeiteten Gesang. Fr aufgeschlossene Hrer tat sich darin ein gnzlich neues musikalisches Universum auf - das -Dreamweb- von mind.in.a.box. -Lost Alone- (2004) fand sein Publikum schnell: Die filmreife Mischung aus frischen Sounds, Vocals zwischen Technopop, Trance, Eighties-Stoff und Industrial war ungeheuer zwingend und wurde von zahlreichen Medien mit dem Titel -Album des Monats- gekrt. So schufen sich die beiden sterreicher Videospiel-Freaks und Komponisten Stefan Poiss (Musik) und Markus Hadwiger (Texte) sofort eine eigene Nische. Die opulenten Kompositionen gingen mit einer im Album-Booklet enthaltenen Science-Fiction-Geschichte einher, die teilweise auch auf der Webseite des Duos erzhlt wurde: -Dreamweb-, eine -Matrix- -hnliche Story ber berwachung und Flucht in andere Dimensionen, weitete sich auf den folgenden Alben -Dreamweb- (2005) und insbesondere -Crossroads- (2007) zusehends ber den groben Entwurf auf -Lost Alone- hinaus zu einem eigenen Universum aus, abgerundet von atemberaubender Konzeptkunst des renommierten Illustrators Ingo Rmling. Diese drei Meisterwerke sind jetzt erstmals auf Vinyl erhltlich, alle als Doppel-LPs in Klapphllen mit den Original-Designs und sowohl einzeln als auch in einem Set. Die limitierte Box -The Dreamweb Trilogy- enthlt drei groe Kunstdrucke mit Illustrationen von den Alben und eine Vinyl-Edition in exklusiver Farbe mit Bonustracks auf zwei der drei LPs.
