Kowa sv ii series binoculars are coated with a very thick rubber armor, designed to properly protect internal optics from bumps and scratches. In addition, around the objectives, the thickness of the rubber has been increased. Some of the numerous strengths of the binoculars are the rubber armature designed to protect the internal optics even during the most demanding use, as well as the structure of the body surface, giving users an excellent balance between comfort and grip. Technologies, some of which are patented, such as "kowa repelling" (kr) and 100% waterproofing of binoculars, are proposed within the sv ii series, synonymous with how passion for the product means more than anything else. The central focus wheel has been increased both in size and rigidity. Diopter adjustment is placed under the right eyepiece. All optical surfaces are fully multi-treated. These treatments ensure that light transmission, definition, color, brightness and contrast are always at the highest level. The eyepieces and lenses are covered by the "kowa repelling" treatment (kr): the kr technology intervenes to block the grease, fluid and dirt that accumulate on the surface of each treated lens, making cleaning much easier and immediate. This feature is usually reserved for more expensive binoculars. Nitrogen filling also prevents fogging and provides additional protection to optical units. A case with strap attachment, lens covers and neoprene strap are completed.
