ANSMANN battery charger Powerline 4 Ultra With this intelligent battery charger up to four NiMH batteries AA (HR6), Micro AAA (HR03) or three Baby C batteries (HR14), two Mono D batteries (HR20) or four Li-Ion 18650 batteries can be charged at the same time. You can also mix the different batteries - regardless of number, size, capacity or charge level. Each of the 4 charging bays is individually monitored and charged / discharged individually. Each battery is charged individually. This means that batteries of different types and with different capacities and charge levels can be inserted and charged / discharged. After fully charged, the charger automatically switches to impulse maintenance charging and keeps the battery topped up to 100%. The batteries can remain in the charger or removed when charged. Even deeply discharged batteries (NiMH over 0.2V / Li-ion over 2V) are also charged and do not have to be disposed of as "defective", but can be used for a little longer. For more functions - the device offers the option of setting the charging program and charging current for each charging slot individually. The "Mode" button can be used to select the charging mode (charging, discharging or testing), and the "Current" button to select the charging current ( 500/1000/1500 / 2000mA). The selected setting is indicated by an arrow in the LCD screen. Just inserting the batteries the charger charges gently with 500mA until the battery is fully charged. Three batteries with up to 1500mA or two batteries with 2000mA can be charged if required. The charging time is reduced accordingly. In addition, the charger can measure the capacity and discharge batteries. Whether you charge NiMH batteries or lithium-ion batteries, the charging currents can be selected as follows: - 4 × 500 / 1000mA, - 3 × 1500mA or - 2 × 2000mA. The discharge current is always 500mA. Charging times depend on the selected charging current, but as a guide: NiMH battery 1000mAh = 40min-2h30min | 2500mAh = 1h30min-6h Li-Ion battery 1000mAh = 30min-2h | 2000mAh = 1-4h.
