Hydration properties HA is a viscoelastic polysaccharide found naturally in the human body, including the eye. Good quality, high molecular weight HA has exceptional water-binding properties that can hold 3000x its own weight in water. Stabilising properties TSP is a naturally occurring, viscoelastic polymer with a chemical structure similar to ocular surface-active mucin.2 The excellent mucoadhesive properties of TSP may help stabilise the tear film, improve the condition of the ocular surface and support the post-contact lens tear layer. Tilt your head back and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the bottle above your eye and squeeze gently to release one or two drops into the pocket.
