The Nissin MF18 TTL ring flash is a macro ring flash with the guide number of 16 (100ISO) suitable for Sony ADI/P-TTL flash system. It is also possible to use the ring flash as a wireless TTL flash. The MF18 works as a main flash. This works perfectly in combination with Nissan flash and original Sony flashes. All ring flash settings can be easily adjusted via the menu on the convenient color screen. Firmware updates can be installed via the USB connector of the flash. The Nissin MF18 is equipped with Nissin's revolutionary "Fine Macro" technology, which allows you to adjust your flash power in an extremely precise and very stable way from 1/128 to 1/1024 in 1/6 increments. So you reach the precision lighting of a microscope. In manual mode, the power is adjustable from 1/1 to 1/64 in 1/3. In addition, the flash tube is designed so that always a uniform amount of light from the flash is emitted. If desired, the flash light can be corrected for ambient light. A built-in LED focus light makes it easy to focus your subject perfectly and the Nissin MF18 also has the ability of flash on the second curtain and super fast synchro. Orthodontists also use a ring flash when photographing their mouth. The Nissin MF-18 can illuminate teeth perfectly, because the flash with this flash is done with a small aperture, which has a positive effect on the sharpness of the photo, the image is also clear in the back of the mouth. Another advantage is that the flash light is more powerful than other light sources in a treatment chamber so no colour is dominant, and high colour fastness is created. When photographing the mouth, it is important that the image can be reproduced correctly. If after a certain period of time a shot should be taken with the same sharpness, illumination, colour and contrast it is important that this shot is exactly the same. The Nissin MF18 can be fully adjusted with the hand so that a perfect comparison can occur.
