Phenomenal Czech hornist Radek Baborák turns to the music of Argentine composer Astor Piazzolla on his second album for ANIMAL MUSIC. The music was arranged by him to fit his eleven piece ensemble Orquestrina of outstanding Czech and international musicians. The role of the classic tango instrument Bandoneon is taken over by the horn, the bass clarinet, the violin and the piano. The performers do not copy the sound of the legendary Piazzolla quintet, but let the music speak for itself. The new sound also opens up unknown perspectives on Piazzollas's immortal art.
