The Midland Alan 48 Plus Multi B CB radio features a standard 6-pin microphone jack on the front.

Alan 48 offers multiple functions for complex use: SCAN function for channel search, dual watch function that allows two different channels to be monitored, LCR function, Last Chanel Recall for last channel redial, Squelch function for adjusting device sensitivity, MEM function 4-channel memory saving function, RF gain and microphone amplification for controlling reception sensitivity and amplification of the microphone.

Communication distance is another decisive factor in the purchase and use of a CB antenna. The communication distance of a maximum of 9 km is achieved in ideal working conditions: calibrated antenna, free field without obstacles, the station with maximum permissible power of 4 W and with a standard reception. Any obstacle such as hills, mountains, buildings or walls can reduce this distance.

This kit is ready to install and includes an antenna, magnetic base with cable and PL259 socket that are penetrated for calibration. All you have to do is mount the antenna on a magnetic base, connect it to a CB radio station and calibrate it for maximum performance.
