With the Cameo DVC PRO interface and the associated Cameo software (powered by Daslight), DMX-compatible light devices can be conveniently controlled from PC and Mac. In live mode, the plug-and-play interface offers 1024 DMX channels, programmed light shows can be copied into the integrated flash memory for computerless use as standalone with 256 channels (expandable up to 1024 channels). The interface has a USB-C port as input, two 3-pin XLR outputs and is powered by the computer's USB output. Three buttons allow program selection and dimming in standalone mode, for which a standard 5V USB power supply is required. The free Cameo software package contains over 15,000 device libraries and a ScanLibrary editor for creating and editing your own device profiles. Individual DMX device types can be selected, grouped together and added to the Lightshow in a 2D view. Dynamic scenes can be created, arranged and superimposed, the palette function allows light control without fading movements, and the XEEL engine produces hundreds of different exciting pixel and video effects. The software includes an extensively equipped toolbox for live edits, an audio analyzer and a MIDI clock for synchronising light and music tempo and a 3D visualization of the programmed light show in real time. The screen layout can be completely tailored to individual needs, and the free app "Easy Remote Pro" allows remote control with iOS and Android devices.
