The Tekota is a small sized boat fishing reel that can be used in saltwater. It's also perfect as a light trolling reel. It can be described best as a workhorse! The reel has a level wind system which is easy for the angler to get the line spooled well on the reel. The reel is equipped with very strong gearing, 3 S AR B bearings, a clicker system, Hagane Aluminum Body frame and an optional line counter. This reel features star drag, which is easy to adjust during the fight with a fish. Compared to the previous model, many things are new, including the body, looks, handle and gear ratio. The drag power has also been improved and the weight has been slightly reduced. A great reel for boat fishing, and light SW trolling.
