Product Description This NRS Duo Height Adjustable Walking Trolley, P23117, Turquoise Blue has been designed in conjunction with Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists and End Users, to act as a combined household trolley and walking support. While a standard household trolley is not designed to provide support to the user, our Duo Trolley is specifically designed to be support users while they go about their day to day household tasks. The height adjustable frame adjusts between 83.5 - 98cm (33 - 38.5"") and is based on a standard wheeled walking frame to offer excellent stability. The two trays have been positioned to allow a natural walking gait while transporting items, allowing the user to maintain their independence for household tasks and movement around their home. For example, the Duo is ideal for transporting a meal from the kitchen and the top tray can then be used as a meal table while seated. Easy to operate, the rear legs feature unique dual action sliders with a curved nylon base that allow the trolley to be pushed forward, but that also have a grip section if the user leans their weight on the frame, creating stability and stopping the trolley moving. This offers a safer alternative to a conventional trolley without the need for the user to operate brake levers. The Duo has a strong steel frame with 10cm (4"") front castors for easy turning and also features comfortable hand grips. Simple home assembly required.
