Description

The Shimano model mt501 post mount 4-piston rear disc brake adopts a new power transfer system in which the rotor is pressed with the smaller size piston at the intake intake of the rotor and also with the larger and more power piston at the rear; this prevents the rotor oscillating movement and reduces noise significantly; the 4-piston bridge pistons also allows a wider contact area for the brake disc, while maintaining a compact size, and the optimal placement of the pads is adjusted as needed to stabilize pressure
