Two years later, she proved it by sailing 3006 miles from sandy hook on the eastern Seaboard to the Lizard in cornwall to win the KAISER's cup. And in the process set A speed record that would stand for an unprecedented 93 years. Although no longer in existence, The memory of the Atlantic lives on in this elegant model.
