Product Description Código 1530 ultra-premium tequilas have been perfected over several generations the way one would a homemade recipe, embracing time-honoured “codes” and customs in our private distillery. The tequila begins with fully-matured agave, which is cooked in stainless steel ovens, fermented using local yeast and distilled in stills handmade by the distilling family themselves. Our Código 1530 Rosa Blanco tequila begins with the purity of our Blanco, which is then rested for 1 month in the finest uncharred French white oak Cabernet wine barrels from Napa Valley. What results is an award-winning Rosa Blanco that has a natural rosy hue with a subtle red wine taste and a floral aroma. Bright, natural sweetness meets deep fruit notes to produce an elegant, flavourful drink. PRODUCTION We pride ourselves in striving to make Código 1530 the most selective tequila in the world, using only perfect inputs and age-old secret family processes. We hand-select the best, fully-matured agave, to ensure that with each harvest, our agave’s Brix level (sugar content) meets our high standards, for a better tasting, smooth tequila. We make each batch naturally, without any added sugars or colour or flavour. Each drop of Amatitán water we use is from freshwater pools and rainwater, filtered through the volcanic soil of Los Bajos. Our proprietary chopper allows us to extract only the best juice and pulp from the first press of ripe agave, to garner the purest flavor. We use local yeast to facilitate the proper fermentation process. We age our tequila to taste in the finest French white oak Cabernet wine barrels, sourced carefully from Napa Valley’s most prestigious wine producers, in our time-honoured family aging technique, rather than the more commonly used American whiskey barrels.
