Extends the HDMI audio/video signal up to 60 meters via a Category 5e or 6 cable (recommended category 6 for longer distance), much cheaper than HDMI cable, and prevents signal loss when using a very long HDMI cable. It consists of a transmitter that connects to your notebook, DVD player or HDMI PC, and a receiver that connects to your HDMI monitor or TV. Connects to each other via a normal network cable. No need to install software. Power Supplies Included There are two infrared sensors that connect to the transmitter and receiver, so you can control the TV both in the local location and from the remote station. The extender also has a reset function in the receiver, which allows the user to adjust the signal to better fit the cable length.
