The Home Source Banana Parasol is a 3-metre cantilever garden parasol designed to give you overhead shade without a central pole interrupting your seating space. With an adjustable crank handle and a detachable canopy for winter storage, it's a practical long-term addition to a patio, decking area, or garden dining setup. Function & Design Unlike a standard centre-pole parasol, the offset cantilever arm positions the canopy out over your table or seating area rather than through the middle of it — giving you full, unobstructed use of the space underneath. The crank handle opens and closes the canopy and allows height adjustment without manually pushing or pulling the canopy into position. A wind vent at the top reduces wind resistance by allowing gusts to pass through the canopy rather than lifting it. This parasol is suited to garden dining sets, sun loungers, outdoor sofas, and covered patio areas where shade is needed directly overhead. Important Note on the Base The base requires four ABS water-filled weights for stability. These are not included and must be purchased separately. Do not use this parasol without the base weights in place, particularly in exposed or windy locations. Components & Included Parts You'll receive the parasol canopy, aluminium pole, and base frame. Materials & Construction The pole and key structural parts are aluminium — lightweight, strong, and corrosion-resistant for outdoor use across multiple seasons. The pole diameter is 48mm. The canopy is black and detachable from the base for off-season storage.
