Magnetic system, no need to cut the liner, no electric wire that goes over the pool, current goes by induction. Incredible 5w efficiency, much more efficient brightness than a traditional 50w lamp. The design of the optics is studied for optimum radiation. Easy simply position the lamp, the magnet holds it on the wall. Plugs into a traditional electrical outlet. Length of the electrical cable 6m80. Suitable for pools up to 7m32.Here are some recommendations for consumers to check out 1. This product is designed for use with vinyl-only (non-steel walled) above ground pools with a thickness of 1 mm or less.2. Not for in-ground or semi-in-ground pools.3. Do not use this product as a floor lamp.4. Make sure the male and female intermediate plugs are clean and free of rust.5. If the power switch does not respond, check that the intermediate connection between the transmitter and the transformer is tight. Push the two connections firmly together and tighten the base nut tightly.6. Make sure the body light inside the pool water and the emitter (outside the pool) are properly aligned and matched. Adjust orientation if needed
