Description

Whether in the sea or on land - in love everything is allowed. Immerse yourself in the colourful and fantastic (underwater) world of Nagi no Asukara. After Miuna accidentally realizes that she can breathe underwater, she accompanies Hikari and Kaname to the sea village of Shioshishio. You want to see the right there, but everything is still in deep hibernation. On her exploration tour through the village, Miuna hears a mysterious sound that they follow and at the source of which they find a secluded, abandoned cave. It is the crypt of all previous sea women and in the middle of this grave lies Manaka and sleeps. With horror, they find that Manaka's vital Ena is dissolving. Together they decide that she must be brought ashore as soon as possible. Hikari is doing everything to save her, but will he make it in time? Imagine a world as we know it. With people, houses, streets, schools and shops. But then there is another world, one that is right on the coast, underwater. People also live here, also there are houses, streets, schools and shops. How about people meet above and people underwater? The anime skilfully combines dramatic elements with fantasy and is highly romantic, with characters that you immediately close to the heart. This series was produced by Studio P.A. Works that, among other things, also for "Angel Beats!" responsible. Directed by Toshiya Shinohara ("InuYasha - Affections touching across time", "Kuroshitusji"). Almost coinciding with the broadcast of the series in Japan, the release also began as a manga by Riso Maeda. The appearance of this anime is really outstanding, which is determined by a high quality. The underwater world is imaginative, full of glittering colours and designed with lots of attention to detail. Who has seen dazzling schools of fish swim through streets so far? The miraculous story of the author Mari Okada ("Toradora" and "Hanasaku Iroha") is also appealing to the eyes.
