A great place to start is to find out what size angle stop you will be connecting to in order to complete the installation. The purpose of the counter weight is to draw the hose back into the faucet as you return the sprayer to the faucet spout after each use. The weight also aids to keep the hose from kinking or twisting. The weight placement can be easily adjusted as needed by unhooking the weight clasp, moving the weight to the new desired placement on the hose, and reclosing the weight clasp. Check to see if the counter weight or the hose is coming into contact with any items under your sink and remove those items for the path of the hose or weight.
