Description Product Description This 1×4 HDMI splitter delivers the audio video signal of one source (e.g. Blu-ray player, game console, satellite receiver, streaming box) simultaneously to 4 HDMI devices. So you can connect TV sets, AVR and a video projector at the same time and even use them in parallel. No switching is necessary, the splitter distributes the output signal to all HDMI devices at the same time. Once the VSP01401 is installed, you don't have to change cables. This also works with a TV and a home theatre receiver with HDMI input or a computer monitor. Video resolutions up to 4K - also called Ultra-HD or UHD - are supported. The maximum data rate is 18 Gbps. Via EDID the connected devices communicate about their capabilities (e.g. supported picture resolution & sound format). If you want to operate displays with different resolutions, you can influence the output signal via the EDID switch. Connect the "best" display to HDMI out 4. Copy: The output depends on the capabilities of the device at output 4. Outputs 1-3 have exactly the same format. Auto: Fixed output in 4kat60Hz stereo on all outputs (at 4k input signal) Mixed: Output in the best possible resolution of the connected devices. If the HDMI source delivers a 4K signal, this is scaled to 1080p for a Full HD TV. HDR is supported in Copy-EDID and Mixed-EDID modes. Note that most Full HD devices cannot play HDR correctly. So if you are using both 4K and Full HD devices at the same time, you should turn HDR off. HDR10, HLG-HDR and Dolby Vision are supported. HDMI CEC and ARC are NOT supported. The splitter has a robust metal housing and is operated with the supplied power supply with EU power plug. We offer an alternative version with UK 3-pin power plug.
