The strips are attached to the threshold with stencils. The self-adhesive strips on the bottom side of the door sill plates ensure the bars after being stuck on in the correct position, preventing strain whilst gardening. The door sill plates are made from polished stainless steel and decorated with the word superb. If you find any dirt simply clean them with a damp cloth.
