The Grainfather brewing spatula for whirlpool and aeration is the perfect tool to ventilate your wort, once cooled, into the fermenter as well as to achieve a powerful and effective whirlpool with minimal effort. Proceeding to a whirlpool before draining your wort from the brewing system is highly recommended in order to separate the solid particles from your wort. This process allows you to form a secondary filter layer on your hop filter and obtain a clear wort, while reducing the risk of small particles clogging the pump. Simply attach the tip of the spatula into the chuck of a standard electric drill so you can easily whirlpool and aerate your wort. Aerating the wort when cooled is ideal.
