Are complete units comprising a housing with an integral shank and a spherical plain bearing. Preferably support radial loads in a tensile or compressive direction. Integral shanks have an external or internal thread or a circular welding face. Integral shanks with thread are available with a right-hand or left-hand thread and are protected against corrosion by zinc plating. The thin walled design of the eye housing allows compact adjacent constructions.
