The LLOYTRON Slimline 8x AA / AAA Multi-Charger is compatible with many batteries sizes and will charge 2, 4, 6 or 8 AA or AAA sized batteries at once. Both NiMh and NiCd batteries can be charged; save money and reduce waste without the need for disposable batteries. Recharge your batteries to their full capacity quickly and safely. Simply plug in to a standard UK mains socket and insert your rechargeable batteries into the appropriate sized compartment. The red light will turn on to indicate that 2 batteries have been inserted, and leave to charge for the recommended time. To calculate the charging time the battery capacity must be divided over the charging rate and so is dependent on the batteries you require. The charging rate for AA / AAA is 1.2v DC 100mA. There is no indicator to state when the battery is fully charged. This durable battery charger is long lasting to give power to your family's devices time and again, with many batteries able to recharge up to 1000 times. The safety features such as over charge protection and reverse polarity protection/automatic short circuit protects the battery against current fluctuation, although it is advised not to leave batteries charging for over double the amount of time they require to reach full charge.
