The Ripper pedals use a Shimano SPD cleat mechanism and are therefore compatible with Shimano cleats, if you fancy trying a pair of larger platform pedals and don’t want to get used to the feeling of a new mechanism, look no further than the Funn Ripper pedals! There is a spring-loaded angular engagement system (AES), significantly improving the smoothness of SPD cleat engagement action. The mechanism sits proud of the surrounding platform meaning its easy to locate in a hurry. Clipping out is a smooth affair too, just like Shimano SPD’s (and DMR V-Twin’s) the Funn Ripper pedals feature adjustable tension meaning you can fine-tune force needed for removal. With regards to feel, the Rippers are akin to a pair of Shimano spd pedals, there’s limited float and clipping in and out is denoted by a resounding ‘click’. Precision made, lightweight and tough mountain bike pedals, Built for riders of all levels looking for improved pedaling efficiency and control on the trails. Once the rider is clipped in, the raised platform offers great pedal feel and support. The large platform gives confidence and rock-solid stability even when not clipped in.

Versatile Use : MTB Clipless pedals for enduro, freeride, XC, trail riding and downhill. These pedals are perfect for MTB riders as well as BMX and gravel bike riders on challenging terrain.

The ‘Angular Engagement System’ mechanism is compatible with Shimano SPD cleats and is spring-loaded around the axle, making it easy to clip in if you lead with the front edge of the cleat.

Max confidence: Ripper clipless pedals are CNC machined from 6061 alloy to create a durable pedal with a large, supportive SPD platform for stability and control in all conditions.

Pedal Engagement : A crisp and high-quality SPD compatible, double sided clip-in mechanism offers perfect control and quick engagement. Including a pair of SPD Compatible cleats.

Axle System : International standard 9/16 inch CrMo axle with sealed cartridge bearing and DU bushing. Durable axles make for solid long lasting mtb pedals.
