The Volkswagen original base carrier is the ideal system base for all structures. The basic carrier tested according to strict Volkswagen specifications City Crash Plus is made of aerodynamically shaped aluminium profile, on which e.g. surfboard, bicycle, ski and snowboard holders or the practical roof boxes can be attached. The base carrier is precisely matched to the vehicle and already completely pre-assembled. Without the use of tools, the base rack can be securely and precisely attached to the vehicle roof in no time. The easy-to-fit aero profile with textured finish minimizes wind noise. The base carrier is lockable and therefore safely protected against theft. Supplied with torque wrench.
