Product Description Trauma Fix is Reliance Medical's new military sterile dressing, now updated and includes a built-in pillow that increases the pressure when stemming major blood flow. It offers a substantial, highly absorbent dressing pad, capable of absorbing over ten times its own weight in fluid. Military version is packaged to allow for the specialized environment in which it is likely to be used. The package itself is manufactured from a waterproof fabric that protects the dressing under extreme conditions. Thoughtful design is evident from the distinctive green camouflage packaging, a color that is carried through to the dressing itself allowing a serious wound to be dressed and camouflaged simultaneously. This pressure bandage allows direct pressure to be applied quickly and maintained easily, this is secured instantly with a velcro style fastening. This dressing is approved by NATO and applies pressure directly on the wound without the need for a plastic pressure bar that is used in the Israeli bandage.
