Ultra-fast maximum power point tracking (MPPT). Especially when the sky is overcast and the light intensity is constantly changing, an extremely fast MPPT controller improves the energy yield by up to 30% compared to pulse width modulation (PWM) charge controllers and by up to 10% compared to slower MPPT controllers. Load output: overloading the battery can be prevented by connecting all loads to the load output. The load output separates the loads when the battery has been discharged to a specified voltage value. Alternatively, you can also choose an algorithm for intelligent battery management: see BatteryLife. The load output is short-circuit protected. Some loads (especially inverters) are best connected directly to the battery. The inverter remote control is best connected to the load output. If the solar charge controller is unable to recharge the battery to full capacity within one day, the status of the battery will continually cycle between "partially charged" and "discharge finished". This operating mode (no regular full charging) will damage a lead-acid battery within a few weeks or months. The BatteryLife algorithm monitors the charging level of the battery and, if required, raises the threshold for disconnecting the load day by day (i.e. the load is disconnected earlier), until the energy gained is enough to recharge the battery up to almost 100%. From this point, the threshold value for the load shutdown is modulated, so an almost 100% charge will be achieved about once a week.
